How to Install a Theme
I’ll go through this with my Enforcer theme!
Starting from the post, go to either the Live Preview, or the website the code is linked to.
If you clicked on the Live Preview, they might sometimes have the codes there (I know some of my older ones only have them on the Live Preview).
Click the link to the codes, and it’ll take you to where the HTML is.
If the code is using pastebin, just click the clipboard icon at the top of the text, then copy it with ctrl + c.
Copy the code, and then go to the customize page of your theme (accessible from your blog settings).
I’m using a new sideblog for this example. Now, click ‘Edit HTML’ up at the top there.
Select the code, and replace it with the code you copied before. Then, click Update Preview, and Save (at the top).
It might look weird at first! This is normal. Just refresh the page.
That’s better. Now, you can change the colours, and images in the theme! They’re right on the side there. And you’re done!!
How to Install a Music Player
Adding music to a blog is pretty easy. Most themes use Billy Sheep Player.
To use Billy Sheep Player, you’ll want a place to host/store your music files. I use Dropbox.
On Billy, you can paste in the links of your songs. You can add up to five songs! Billy is pretty straight forward. You’ll need mp3 files; m4a files don’t work!
Click ‘generate code’ at the bottom, and then copy the text that’s in the box.
Paste this code into the Music part in the Appearance preferences in the Customize tab.
And there you go!
Note: If your theme doesn’t have a space for a music player, you can add the code to your description!
